I’ve been using AI coding tools quite a bit over the past year, but it can be hard to keep track of how much usage I’ve got left. And because I use Fedora KDE, I wanted a simple widget that can sit in the panel which shows the current usage and a pop-up with extra information.

So I built an AI Usage Widget - with the help of both Claude and Codex, of course.

Here’s some screenshots of it in action:

It’s available from the KDE Store.

After installing the widget, it has some basic config options for changing what allowances are used on the gauges and the refresh interval.
